Augmenting the light from the window, a full height back-lit glass block wall is integrated into the shower.

Nestled in the El Cerrito hills this modern three bedroom one and a half bath home has wonderful views and a nice layout. What was missing was another bathroom for the Master Bedroom. Taking advantage of an adjacent large crawl space, an ample new Master Bath with window, walk-in shower and linen cabinets is added.

Augmenting the light from the window, a full height back-lit glass block wall is integrated into the shower. A radiant floor and dual towel warmers make the space warm and cozy.  Keeping it clean, both visually and physically, the vanity and toilet are wall hung and enhance the large format stone tile flooring.  Adding a splash of color, are large custom glass tiles placed randomly for a touch of whimsy.

In the Master Bedroom, closets are reconfigured behind the existing screen wall and finished in beech wood cabinetry.
